26-year-old Rebecca Rodriguez died on or about October 20, 2017 while in the custody of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.  Information provided in this post was extracted from a custodial death report filed by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office with the Attorney General of Texas.  Therefore, our firm does not have personal knowledge of what is mentioned in this post and also does not make any allegation that anyone did anything wrong.

Ms. Rodriguez was incarcerated at the Bexar County Jail beginning October 20, 2017.  Allegedly, on October 24, 2017, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Ms. Rodriguez was found on the floor grabbing her stomach in pain.  She was transported to a medical portion of the facility for evaluation and ultimately displayed no vital signs.  Emergency medical services personnel were called, and Ms. Rodriguez was transported to Downtown Baptist Hospital (where she passed away).
