A 44-Yr-Old Inmate in Guadalupe County Jail TX Dies-Pt.4
Chad Lenoch became a Guadalupe County Jail inmate in Seguin, Texas, on October 4, 2022. For reasons still unknown, he died in the jail’s custody six days later. Mr. Lenoch was only 44 years old when he was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased on October 10, 2022.
Gilbert Shaw Medina Died of Suicide in Collin County Jail on 2/11/22
Gilbert Shaw Medina was booked into Collin County Jail in McKinney, Texas, on December 8, 2021. During intake, the jailer handling processing noted that Mr. Medina exhibited mental health problems and made suicidal statements. He was placed in a single-occupancy cell.
Tragically, Mr. Medina died from suicide on February 11, 2022. The brief summary of the incident indicates that in the Collin County Detention Facility, a pod officer was conducting a normal cell check when he saw that Mr. Medina was seen laying on the floor unresponsive. A ligature was around his neck. The officer immediately cut off the ligature and medical personnel tried to revive Mr. Medina but he was pronounced deceased in the cell a short time later.
Mr. Medina’s manner of death is listed as suicide and the medical cause is self-strangulation.
