31-Year-Old Daniel Maldonado Dies After Incarceration in Bexar County Jail
Daniel Maldonado was 31 years old when he entered Bexar County Jail on January 10, 2022. He died in the jail’s custody on February 15, 2022. In the amended custodial death report (CDR) that the Bexar County Sheriff filed about Mr. Maldonado on November 14, 2022, autopsy results are provided. He apparently died of natural causes, those being complications of endocarditis. There is no indication that Mr. Maldonado received treatment for the condition that took his life. Information obtained during booking indicates “unknown” in answer to the question of whether he exhibited any medical problems.
