A Tarrant County Jail Inmate in Fort Worth TX Dies-Pt.5
At age 65, Kenneth Ray Perry was booked into Tarrant County Jail on September 27, 2022. He was declared deceased due to unknown causes 33 hours later on September 29, 2022. His death is under investigation by the Fort Worth Police Department. Also, the Texas Rangers typically investigate all custodial deaths that occur in county Texas jails.
Inmate Andre Wilson Died at Age 34 in Tarrant County Jail on 9/14/2020
Andre Wilson was booked into Tarrant County Jail at 600 W. Weatherford in Fort Worth, TX 76196, on June 18, 2020. Tragically, he died under unknown circumstances on September 14, 2020. In the custodial death report (CDR) about his death, the summary of how Mr. Wilson’s death occurred is only two sentences long. It indicates that he was checked and given a dinner tray. Then, after all inmates had been fed, officers were retrieving trays and found that Mr. Wilson was laying on the floor of his cell.
Among the indications that circumstances surrounding Mr. Wilson’s death are unknown is the following answer to the question as to whether the death was the result of a suicide, homicide, or accident and, if so, who caused the death:
- Unknown whether the decedent sustained a fatal injury.
Also, in answer to what the pre-existing medical condition was in connection with the death is the following answer:
- Not Applicable: cause of death was accidental injury, intoxication, suicide or homicide
