The Randall County Sheriff’s Department, in Amarillo, Texas, recently filed a custodial death report regarding the death of Scott Ray Warren.  Mr. Warren was 59 years old when he died.  Information in this post was obtained from that report, and we make no allegation of any wrongdoing against anyone

Mr. Warren was taken into custody at approximately 9:30 PM on April 2, 2019.  On April 3, 2019, at approximately 8:13 PM, Mr. Warren was found unresponsive in a single-man cell.  This occurred in the Randall County jail in Amarillo Texas.  EMTs were notified approximately five minutes later, and they arrived at approximately 8:24 PM.  Several Randall County Sheriff’s Office employees attempted to revive Mr. Warren, but they were unsuccessful.  Mr. Moore was pronounced deceased at 10:02 PM.

The Texas Rangers are investigating Mr. Warren’s death.  Presumably, an autopsy was done.  Generally, it can take up to approximately 3 months to obtain full autopsy results.
