Waller County, Texas Jail Prisoner Attempts Suicide After Recent Poor Jail Inspection Report by TCJS
On Friday morning, January 25, 2019, a Waller County, Texas prisoner attempted to commit suicide. The Waller County jail is the location where Sandra Bland committed suicide. We posted about a recent Texas Commission on Jail Standards inspection of this jail within a few days prior to the latest prisoner’s attempt to commit suicide –
The prisoner was taken to an area hospital, and we are unaware of the extent of his injuries. We will post more information about the suicide attempt once we receive it.
