Clay County Jail Visitation Regulations
Inmates at Clay County Jail are allowed to have five names on their visitation list, and no one whose name is not on the list is allowed to visit. Changes to the visitation list cannot be made during visitation hours. Once five names have been submitted for an inmate’s list, no changes can be made for 30 days.
Visitors age 17 and older are authorized for one 20-minute visit per inmate per visiting day.
Children age 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult whose name is listed as one of the five visitors on an inmate’s visitation list. Children are not required to show identification. It is the responsibility of visitors to provide adult supervision for children who are not visiting.
Anyone who has been incarcerated in the Clay County Jail is not allowed to visit an inmate at the jail until 30 days after the date of release, and there are no exceptions.
