The following are guidelines for visitation at Bailey County Jail.
Visitation Days and Times
The basic visitation schedule at Bailey County Jail as well as any Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facility includes weekends between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and a weekly cycle running from Monday through Thursday, which typically allows inmates to receive one visit for each weekly cycle. The length of visits is two hours from the time the inmate arrives in the visiting area. When visitation demands are high, visitation hours and days may be extended by the director and may include a Friday. Be sure to confirm the current visitation period before scheduling your visit.
How Many Visitors are Allowed At Once?
For each weekly Visitation session, inmates are allowed to have two adult visitors. If a minor accompanies an adult, the child is not counted as one of the two visitors allowed. Be sure to read the rules on underage visitors.
Holiday Visits
Visits on holidays must be requested between one day in advance and seven days in advance. Request for visits during holidays that fall on a Monday or Friday are accommodated by TDCJ, except on Christmas Day.
