Calhoun County Jail Rules of Visitation

Only approved visitors are allowed to visit inmates at Calhoun County Jail. It is necessary to register and get your name on the visitor’s list before arriving at the facility. The following are some basic rules of visitation:

Phone Calls

A person must be approved before an inmate can call him or her. Inmates are allowed to call approved individuals on any day between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM. The receiver bears the cost of the phone call, which can last for a maximum of 30 minutes. Call time is significantly reduced to 10 minutes per inmate during rush hours.

Commissary

Inmates have a commissary account which they can receive money into via cash, check or money order. Visitors of inmates can also deposit money directly into an inmate’s account at the administrative office of the jail.
