Work Injury Lawyer – A Dallas Walmart Worker Suffers an Amputation Injury-Pt.2

Kroger is another big box store that is likely not a subscriber to the workers’ compensation program in Texas, same as Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. There was a serious work injury at a Kroger store in November 2021, as there was at the aforementioned Walmart in Dallas. However, a distinction between the two is that, following the Texas work accident at The Kroger Company in Houston, Texas, there was an inspection.

After inspectors with the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) visited the Houston Kroger, the store was cited for three alleged safety violations. Kroger faced initial penalties totaling $43,506.
